Dana and Fritz opened their first Antiques shop “Jennings and Rohn Antiques” in 1987. First in Canaan, NY, then Goshen, CT, then Woodbury, CT.
Over the years as “Jennings and Rohn Antiques” they gathered a wealth of knowledge, and a passion for early English and Continental furniture, art and decoration, which is reflected in their extensive personal collections.
With the opening of Jennings & Rohn MONTAGE in 2015 we have been able to greatly expand our offerings to incorporate country, rustic and Mid Century furniture and accessories.
Dana and Fritz’s elder daughter Chloë joined the team in 2015 as part of the newly opened MONTAGE, bringing a lifelong love of beautiful handmade objects, and fresh eyes. Since then we have established ourselves here in Millerton, New York as a local resource for retail shoppers, designers and dealers alike.
In 2021 Dana and Fritz’s younger daughter Phoebe joined the MONTAGE team to manage our international sourcing, bringing with her a keen eye and a passion for the hunt.
Together, we are MONTAGE.

Antiques and Vintage Furnishings are, by their very nature, sustainable. Yes, they frequently need restoration. Yes, we do have to ship them to the shop from somewhere. But unlike every single new thing you buy, they already exist in the built universe. Furthermore, they are almost always built with better-quality materials and time-tested methods. They were in use before we were born and will carry on long after we are gone.

We hold a firm belief in the powers of compassion and generosity. We do not work only for our gain, but to lift our whole community incrementally, with us. Montage gives to various causes, both great and small. Sometimes we undertake special causes or specific needs funding within our region. Other times we join larger groups to raise money and awareness for causes outside of our area. But always, always with humility and respect.
